Maintenance Person Complementary RV Site
We are looking for someone to do some repairs, maintenance, and grounds keeping around the campground area property. The chosen candidate will take care of projects around the park in an efficient and timely manner. This person will also check in campers and address their concerns and complaints in a proper fashion. As a maintenance worker, you will spend most of your day outside completing tasks or special projects. We have one bath house that gets cleaned first thing every day, and a pool that needs to be checked in the morning and will also spend time delivering firewood, maintaining sites, filling propane, painting or mowing. A knowledge of RV park maintenance is a plus. Applicants will need a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 50 pounds. If you would like an exciting and fun position to help build up your skill sets, this a great place to get the experience. I will need a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week for year-round employees. Customer service is important and will be expected with the position. Our business is everyone else’s vacation, so a professional atmosphere is emphasized. This is a FUN job where you get to meet all sorts of people and make their vacations GREAT! I look forward to hearing from you. Full time, long-term maintenance person preferably live on site, owning your own RV, but local talent living in the area will be considered.

Responsibilities:

Keeping an eye on electrical, the bathhouse, campers, etc.
Responding to any appliances repairs
Listening to and resolving campers’ concerns, questions, and complaints
Adhering to CarrollWoods safety policies
Experience with minor electrical, plumbing, some carpentry and lawn maintenance
Pool maintenance would be a plus
Experience:

One year experience of maintenance in the following examples: roofing, washers, dryers, plumbing, etc.
Experience with minor electrical, plumbing, some carpentry and lawn maintenance
Pool maintenance would be a plus
Ability to work outdoors in the Carolina heat and cold
Landscaping/lawn care: 1 year
Electrical: 1 year
Maintenance: 2 years
Plumbing: 1 year
Job Type: Full-time (30+ hours a week)

Required education:

High school Diploma

 

Paid by the hour.  30- 40 hours per week.  Weekend work a must.
